On February 16, 2017, the specialist media ‘MM Maschinenmarkt’ felicitated the industry’s best companies with their awards. The mega event was held in Würzburg’s Vogel Convention Center in Germany. Companies who were shortlisted for an industrial award or who had already received an award, qualified for the high-caliber industry award – the ‘Best of Industry’ Award. About 180 guests from the Germany industry attended the award ceremony.

“The MM ‘Best of Industry’ Award is the award of awards,” explains Hans-Jürgen Kuntze, publisher of MM Maschinenmarkt. “Anyone who is here today—whether as a nominee or finalist—has brought together a product and an overview of the market.”

Between mid-2015 and mid-2016, a total of 31 nominees were identified in eight categories throughout a complex selection process. A strong judging panel of eight members, consisting of MM editors and industry experts, chose the winners of the various categories along with the many readers of MM Maschinenmarkt. Almost 11,000 votes were cast online!
